⚠ By using Speccyfox, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — they explain what you can and cannot do with our service.
Speccyfox is a web-based software service that monitors publicly accessible webpages for content changes and notifies users by email when changes are detected. The service is provided by Max Filament ("we", "us", "Speccyfox").
You must be at least 18 years old to use Speccyfox. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to enter into these terms.
You may use Speccyfox only for lawful purposes. You may not:
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms without notice.
We offer a 14-day free trial on all plans with no credit card required. At the end of the trial, monitoring will pause unless you subscribe to a paid plan. We may change trial terms at any time for new registrations.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. All prices are in EUR and exclude VAT where applicable (VAT may be added based on your location).
Payment is processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. You authorise us to charge your payment method on each renewal date.
If payment fails, we will notify you by email. Monitoring may be suspended if payment remains outstanding after 7 days.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial months.
We may issue refunds at our discretion in exceptional circumstances. Contact [email protected] within 7 days of a charge if you believe an error occurred.
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages and technical issues may cause temporary interruptions. We will communicate planned downtime in advance where possible.
Check frequencies are best-effort. During high load, checks may run slightly later than scheduled.
You retain ownership of all URLs and data you add to Speccyfox. By using our service, you grant us a limited licence to fetch and store snapshots of pages you monitor for the purpose of providing the service to you.
We store snapshots of monitored pages. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to monitor those pages and that doing so complies with applicable laws and the terms of the sites being monitored.
All Speccyfox software, design, branding and content is our intellectual property. Nothing in these terms grants you a licence to use our name, logo or trademarks.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Speccyfox is provided "as is". We are not liable for:
Our total liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in that period.
You agree to indemnify and hold Speccyfox harmless from any claims, damages or costs (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of Speccyfox after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue features of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes.
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland and the European Union. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Polish courts, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under applicable EU law.
